Throughout history despised regimes like these have have been defined by their unwillingness to allow their people to leave the country and renounce their citizenship freely and now the United States has too. Coincidentally, investigative footage of this under, if ever, reported invasion was posted just prior to this weeks visit by Mexico's President Felipe Calderón. While Calderón has the audacity to chide Arizona and the US for daring to legally defend her borders and to expel those who arrive here illegally, Mexican nationals are aiding, abetting and indeed turning a handsome profit by assisting illegals from a multitude of nations gain access into the United States through his own country and our porous Southwestern borders.

Original post blogged on WeOpine.com.

The venerable institution of "The "White House" has usurped the magnificent opportunity afforded by it's blog and turned it into a bully pulpit. Again, the White House has allowed it's minions to force feed the American public their uber progressive agenda by sanctioning Chicago style attacks against opposing viewpoints rather than fostering the open debate and transparancy promised on the campaign trail.

Original post blogged on WeOpine.com.

I admit it, I am officially paranoid - I have bought into all of this hype concerning the seasonal flu and H1N1 virus. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean something isn't out to get me. Figuring diplomacy is unlikely to work against this enemy combatant, deterance seems the only viable strategy hence my mantra - the only good offense is a strong defense.

Original post blogged on WeOpine.com.

While Karl Marx is often misquoted as having said "Religion is the opiate of the people" in the United States, it is rather the increasing benevolence of the government and not religion that has unwittingly compounded many of the ills our society already suffers from. We now have generations of citizens (and illegal non citizens) addicted to massive and expensive entitlement programs with more joining their ranks everyday!

Original post blogged on WeOpine.com.

Like many savvy travellers living in the New York metropolitan area, I looked forward to filling my fuel tank on the New Jersey Turnpike to avoid, in however small a measure, the usorious state taxes levied on gasoline in the chronically cash-starved state of NY. Viewed as a minor victory against taxation tyranny, it always makes me feel a bit the rebel "sticking it to" the state, so to speak.

Original post blogged on WeOpine.com.

I'd like to be able to say "If you've been reading the news/watching the TV lately, you know what I'm talking about" but the sad truth is that even though many of our citizenry believe themselves to be well informed about issues, they are well informed to the point that their favorite news organizations wish them to be. Rather than being fully rounded and thought out in the traditional sense of a great debate, too many of us take the easy way out by adopting someone else's ideas as our own rather than critically evaluating the information we take in.

Original post blogged on WeOpine.com.
