THOMAS In the spirit of Thomas Jefferson, legislative information from the Library of Congress. THOMAS was launched in January of 1995 to make federal legislative information freely available to the public. Citizens can find out virtually every action that has been taken by our legislators including what bills have been submitted for consideration and their current status. Some of them are pretty darned scary!
