Thanks for the Healthcare Handout Mr Obama
By InMyOpinion on Mar 26, 2010 | In The Nation
For those of you who are attacking those rallying against the current healthcare bill, I ask you...Is it because you have your own hand out? Is it your belief that everyone has a right to free stuff from the government? Do you wish to take the easy road by drinking koolaid only from the government trough?
Shame on you. You embarrass yourselves and our country by your ignorance of our nation's history - and when you eschew hard work and self reliance over hand outs. Our founding fathers were very concerned about the natural tendency of the people to prefer handouts to hard work. They struggled mightily to develop the constitution to prevent this fine nation from becoming the kind of welfare state they saw in the Europe of their day. Their limitations on the powers allowed to the federal government SHOULD HAVE prevented getting where we are today were it not for the radical thinkers of their day and ours.
Robamahood Healthcare "Reform" Is Bad For Our Health
By InMyOpinion on Mar 20, 2010 | In Welcome, The Nation
Dear Congressman,
PLEASE DO NOT VOTE FOR this so called health care reform legislation. I and my husband, and many of our neighbors are entirely against this legislation.

It is a sad day when our elected officials use the excuse that the ends justify the means while voting contrary to the wishes of the people and country they represent. You represent ALL the people in your district and I urge you to see a bigger picture of our country as it is being sold down a river of tears being shed by our founding fathers.
White House Snipers Attack Healthcare Insurance Companies on WH Blog

Perhaps the view I hold onto of the White House is quaint yet antiquated. Is it Pollyanna-esque to expect that the White House and it's inhabitant represents the very best this country has to offer? While Congress digs deeper into partisan trenches, I yearn for a head of state that rises above it all to steer our great nation on the course of individual freedom, liberty and the democracy gifted to us by our forefathers. Is it too much to ask that our President be a visionary, as well as a capable, consummate leader taking us in a direction that a majority of the population wants to go? Apparently so.
